San Francisco pack walks and dog portraits, by Robert Jaeger.

Your dog picked up at home, out for 1 1/2 to 3 hours with friends on the beaches and in the parks, and returned Happy and Exhausted. And when you want them on your wall: custom tailored portraits for those who adore their dogs.

Do you ever look at your dog and think: This is just the most perfect thing that I have ever seen in my entire life?

Robert agrees. Together, we collaborate to craft stunning portraits featuring your dog, on location around the Bay Area or in the Napa dog photo studio, tailored to your dog's personality and your vision. Capturing memories that will last forever.

“I realized early in life that I was happiest when there was a dog nearby.”

A pack walk, start to finish

Your best friend does not want to spend all day home alone.

Waiting for you to return is a long day for a dog. Boredom and a lack of social interaction can lead to behavior issues, so the answer here is company, space and a proper run.

  1. At your door

Your dog is picked up at home to join their pack.

  2. On the road

A safe, ventilated, air conditioned vehicle carries the pack to the beach or park.

  3. Out with friends

1 1/2 to 3 hours of fun out with friends at San Francisco beaches and parks.

  4. Home again

Your dog is returned home. Happy and Exhausted!

Two rooms. Outside, the whole Bay Area. Inside, a studio in Napa.

On location means San Francisco beaches, parks, trails and vineyards, with the Golden Gate Bridge when it suits. In the studio it is seamless grey, black or white, and nothing between you and your dog's face.

What their people say

The pack, by name.

Every review on Robert's own site names a dog. So does this wall. Walk clients and portrait clients, in their own words.

Izzie, a golden retriever, grinning up at the camera on the grass

“Robert is absolutely the best dog walker we could possibly have found. Our Golden Retriever, Izzie, is absolutely nuts about him (more so than for any other human), and has a great time on her dog walks.”

“Not only do I fully trust Robert and his team with our fur-girl, but also trust them implicitly with access to our home. As a total bonus, Robert is an amazing photographer, and posts incredible pics of the pups online.”

Whitney B

“Born To Run is amazing! Our dog, Bea, has been running with them for years. Bea is 9 years old now and in great shape! I'm convinced a lot of her good heath has to do with all the activity and socializing she gets when she's with her pack.”

Decker F

“Robert really fit the bill. He's conscientious, smart, consistent, and safe, in addition (of course) to being fun, energetic and loving to our sweet Lucy, as well as all his other dogs.”

Melinda A

“Robert is a dog whisperer with a camera. Mattie loved him! The barnwood frame he helped us pick out is the perfect fit for our lakehouse.”

Ric H, Mattie's dad

“His talent, patience, and eye for capturing their personalities shine through in every shot. We are beyond grateful for the stunning images. These are the kinds of photos we'll cherish forever.”

Zach C., Bandit & Billy's dad
Fizz, a fluffy Pomeranian, smiling in a close portrait

“Robert is so great to work with! He is super responsive, flexible and truly loves working with dogs. He is a very talented photographer.”

Karen L., Fizz's mom

“Robert has a great eye and has taken our favorite photos of both our dogs over the years. I highly recommend.”

Gina C., Henry & Charlie's mom
